Papaya is a tiny seed living in the Amazon. Like her mother and siblings, she is supposed to grow into a big, colorful tree one day. But Papaya has no desire to do so! She wants to break free and see more of the world. The little seed is particularly keen on flying. When she falls from her mother tree, she is actually supposed to put down roots. Instead, a great adventure begins for Papaya. She meets funny plants and helpful animals, and even dresses up as a ladybug for a flying test. To avoid turning into a tree after all, she must keep moving constantly. This requires a bit of cunning, but also a little bit of luck.

After a long journey, Papaya arrives in the world of humans.Here there are roads and factories and lots of noise. What’s more, it’s not nearly as colourful as it was in the forest. Papaya has an idea about how to make the human world a much better place.But to do that, she needs help from the birds and the bees. And she has to find the courage and strength to make her big dream come true—even though she’s still very small. A funny and beautiful animated adventure that, without dialogue and in a riot of vibrant colors, tells the story of how nature can be saved by embracing its true potential.
