The Climate Seniors are fighting on the front line of climate change. Instead of retiring, they want to do something about the increasingly frequent heatwaves and melting glaciers. Courageously, they are taking on their own country and bringing a case against the Swiss government at the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR). A seemingly hopeless endeavour that culminates in a surprise ruling attracting global attention.

TROP CHAUD takes a look behind the scenes of the fight against climate change. The activists and their legal team, along with their legal and scientific advisors, discuss their motivations. The film never loses sight of the fact that the fight against climate change is a complex and difficult task to resolve. With courage and commitment, however, much can be achieved.
