Hayao Miyazaki – Voice(s) of nature

Green Visions Potsdam, together with the Film University Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF, the UNESCO City of Film Potsdam and Planet Narratives, invites you to an afternoon of film and discussion.
Princess Mononoke” (1997) and the new documentary “Miyazaki, Spirit of Nature” (2024) will be shown. Japanese animation master Hayao Miyazaki incorporates nature as a spiritual force into his films. Works such as “Princess Mononoke” show the fragile balance between man and nature and invite us to view our environment with respect and responsibility. Afterwards, experts will discuss the power of fictional storytelling and its influence on our thoughts and actions.
