Steven Soderbergh is an American film producer, screenwriter, cinematographer, editor and Oscar-winning director. Born in Atlanta, Georgia, he came to prominence with his directorial debut, ‘Sex, Lies and Videotape’, which won the Palme d'Or at Cannes. His other films include ‘Kafka’, ‘The Limey’, ‘Erin Brockovich’, ‘Traffic’ (Oscar for Best Director), ‘Ocean's Eleven’, ‘Solaris’ and ‘Magic Mike’.
