A whimsical improvisational comedy that makes you laugh and think: In a village in Saxony-Anhalt, one of the driest places in Germany, the summer is long and hot once again. Nevertheless, an overambitious visionary is making plans for a luxury hotel with a pool and all the trimmings. When the only well dries up, the residents’ tempers finally boil over.

The Kiez-Kino Potsdam is organized in cooperation with the international FILM OHNE GRENZEN festival in Bad Saarow, Brandenburg, and with the support of the Nemetschek Foundation and the Ministry of Science, Research and Culture of the State of Brandenburg.

Regie​
Lars Jessen, is a producer, director and screenwriter. He became famous with films such as “Dorfpunks” and “Mittagsstunde”. He has shot numerous episodes of “Großstadtrevier”, “Polizeiruf” and “Tatort”.

Jan Georg Schütte is an actor, author and director, known for his improvisation-based films and series such as “Die Glücklichen” and “Koffie to Go”. He has received numerous awards for his satirical works, including the Special Jury Prize at the German Film Festival.
